This was my first time wearing a traditional Japanese kimono. The experience was amazing and I wouldn't have had it any other way. The process of getting dressed was a lot more complicated than what I thought it would've been, I also didn't know that there were so many pieces to the kimono. While getting dressed in the kimono, Seiko, the owner of Japanese Kimono Dressing explained each of the dressing steps to me and the importance of wearing a kimono. She also told me a little about the history of the kimono and also about how she started dressing people in the kimonos.
Seiko was very professional and she helped me with the different poses and arm and face positions for my photos so that I could truly enjoy the beauty of wearing the kimono. Overall it was a very fun and memorable experience and I would definitely recommend others to try Kimono Dressing.

The Japanese Kimono Dressing experience brought awareness of my inner beauty. I am from Japan and have worn the Kimono for many different occasions. It is so nice to be able to have the same experience in America and be able to feel the beauty within you by wearing the kimono.
